This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your behavior on the LinkEdu.AI platform. It applies to all users, including students, universities, agencies, and any other parties accessing the Platform. By using LinkEdu.AI, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Overview

LinkEdu.AI is built to be a trusted, professional environment for international education. We expect all users to act responsibly, honestly, and respectfully. This policy outlines the behaviors that are prohibited on the Platform and the consequences of violations.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

2.1 Scraping and Data Extraction

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without written consent
• Harvest user email addresses, profiles, or other personal data for unsolicited contact
• Use the Platform's APIs in ways not authorized by your subscription tier

2.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

• Send unsolicited bulk messages to users through the Platform's messaging system
• Use Platform communication tools for marketing unrelated products or services
• Repeatedly send the same or similar messages to users who have not consented

2.3 Harassment and Abusive Behavior

• Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other users
• Post or share content that is defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, or obscene
• Engage in stalking or unwanted persistent contact with other users

2.4 Bots and Automation Abuse

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform unless explicitly authorized
• Automate account creation, login, messaging, or any other Platform function
• Use automated tools to circumvent rate limits or fair-use restrictions

2.5 Fraudulent Activity

• Impersonate another person, organization, or entity
• Provide false or misleading information in your profile, applications, or communications
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse promotional offers
• Engage in any activity intended to defraud the Platform, other users, or third parties

2.6 False Documents

• Upload forged, falsified, or fraudulent academic transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, or other documents
• Misrepresent qualifications, credentials, or institutional affiliations

2.7 Security Interference

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, Platform systems, or data
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Platform security without authorization
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure, servers, or networks

2.8 Infringement of Others' Rights

• Upload or share content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Violate the privacy of other users by sharing their personal information without consent
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Content Standards

All content you post, upload, or share on the Platform must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Not contain explicit, violent, or pornographic material
• Not promote illegal activities
• Respect the intellectual property and privacy of others
• Be relevant to the Platform's educational purpose

4. AI Feature Misuse

When using AI-powered features, you must not:

• Attempt to extract proprietary information about AI models or algorithms
• Use AI features to generate harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Deliberately input false data to manipulate AI outputs for deceptive purposes
• Systematically probe AI features for vulnerabilities or exploits
• Exceed fair-use limits through technical circumvention

5. Community Guidelines

For community features (groups, events, travel posts, connections), you must:

• Treat all members with respect and professionalism
• Keep discussions relevant to the group's stated purpose
• Not use community features for commercial solicitation unless explicitly allowed
• Report inappropriate content or behavior to Platform administrators

6. Enforcement

We enforce this policy through a graduated response that may include:

• Warning: A formal notice of the violation with instructions to cease the behavior
• Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of access to specific features or the entire Platform
• Permanent Termination: Permanent removal of your account and all associated data
• Legal Action: Reporting to law enforcement or pursuing legal remedies where required

The severity of the enforcement action depends on the nature, frequency, and impact of the violation. We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior warning in cases of serious violations.

7. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience conduct that violates this policy, please report it to legal@linkedu.ai. Include as much detail as possible, including screenshots, dates, and descriptions of the behavior. All reports are reviewed and treated confidentially.
